Flowers for Teacher's Day

Teacher’s Day in Lithuania is celebrated on October 5th. It is a chance to thank the person who works with children every day — and flowers are still the most beautiful way to say thank you. We have selected bouquets that suit both a primary school teacher and a high school lecturer.

Which flowers to give on Teacher’s Day

In early October, autumn flowers look their best — chrysanthemums, gerberas and alstroemerias. They last a long time in a vase, which matters: a bouquet often stays in the classroom for a whole week. Roses are the classic choice, but mixed bouquets combining several varieties and colours are becoming more and more popular.

If the whole class is buying flowers together, choose a larger, more festive bouquet. If one pupil is giving them, a modest but tasteful arrangement is enough.

Bouquet or flower box

A flower box has a practical advantage: it does not need a vase and can easily be placed on a desk. This is convenient when a teacher receives several bouquets on the same day. Flowers in a box stay fresh for several days without any care.
